The victim wrote: "I was exploited by a Lastma official (Suenu Adejoke) by name yesterday and would like to know if/how I can be assisted or if someone can tell me what to do.
According to her I used one way ( there was no sign to indicate this) I saw other vehicles moving the same way also. Two vehicles before me and several others behind me. She claim they are military men.
So i told her to allow me turn back, next thing she jumped into the vehicle started dragging the steering with the driver. She later claim that she was assaulted by my driver (George) and she had a miscarriage in the course of this.
We were taken to Area F police station where she demanded N150k for assault. This woman collected N70k cash from my manager and I really feel bad about this because the police did not even help matters. Don't know if there is any official handle (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) where I can report this."

On his first day at work, driver diverts 600 bags of flour, sells off truck as scrap after dismantling it
Operatives of Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a driver, Garuba Lawal, 36, from Kwara State, who connived with 3 other persons in diverting his company 600 bags of flour before dismantling the truck for sale in pieces.
Garuba was recruited by the company (name withheld) in Apapa, Lagos, the same day, to move the 600 bags of flour to a bakery in Ibadan, Oyo State and was baited with N2m by his accomplices to do their bidding.
Garuba disclosed that after loading, a young man, Ismaila from Oyo State, approached him for a discussion. “He asked me how much I have made in since I have been driving truck. I replied him that I just joined the haulage company.
He asked again, have ever seen money in your life? I said no. He asked me again, if you see N2m, what would you do with it? I answered him that I would quit this truck driving job. Then, he told me that he would introduce me to a deal. That was how we started”.
Garuba, in company of the three accomplices, diverted the 600 bags of flour to Sagamu. The truck head was later removed and Garuba was given N50,000. He drove the truck head to Kwara State in company of two other member of the team to sell it off.
"I took the two guys to where I live with my wife. They promised to return with my share on N2m as soon as bank is opened. They collected N15,000 for hotel accommodation from the N50,000 they gave me.
When I didn’t see them that day and the following day, I agreed with a buyer to knock down the truck into pieces and sell the parts for N450,000. After, we had dismantled it, the RRS, Lagos arrested me."
The company disclosed that they were yet to see the motor boy that followed him on the said trip, fueling suspicion that the motor boy might have been killed to pave way for a seamless execution of their plans.
Investigation revealed that the gang has been involved in several diversions of other products. Arrested along with him were Jimoh Adeleye, Wasiu Azeez and Adeniran Jacob.

Whistle blower helps EFCC recover another N250m in Lagos
A tip off from a whistle blower today led operatives of EFCC to intercept huge sums of money in various currencies at the popular Balogun market in Lagos.
The monies include €547,730 and £21,090 as well as N5,648,500. The total haul is about N250m at the prevailing exchange rate at the parallel market.
The intercept followed information that about N250m cash was being moved somewhere in the market for conversion into foreign currencies by unnamed persons.
Operatives responded timely, met the money in Bureau de Change office, but a large chunk of it had been converted into Euro and Pounds sterling.
The BDC operators found in possession of the monies claimed they were acting on behalf of their boss who sent the money to them from one of the Northern states in Nigeria.
Two persons apprehended in the course of the raid are helping the Commission in its investigation.

Skeletal remains found in Boston identified as 22-yr-old Nigeria lady who went missing in 2016
The slim bracelet found with the remains of a young woman discovered in a patch of Dedham woods last week had an engraving that said “peace.”
When authorities seeking help released a photo of the bracelet Friday, someone came forward immediately with a crucial tip: Susan Anyanwu-Corbin, a Boston resident who went missing last year at 22, had a bracelet just like that.
Working over the weekend, forensic investigators were able to confirm that the remains matched dental records for Anyanwu-Corbin, a Nigerian immigrant who was last seen in February 2016.
Police are now looking for information about her disappearance. Anyanwu-Corbin, described as outgoing and caring, may have been missing for as long as three months before an uncle, George Corbin, reached out to the police.
Anyanwu-Corbin left Nigeria shortly before her 18th birthday, sponsored by another family member. She attended West Roxbury High School for a time before switching to an alternative diploma program for working adults, while working a series of retail jobs.
Her remains were discovered by a man walking through a low-lying pocket of woods just beyond busy High Street in Dedham, between the back of the town’s municipal “snow dump” and the edge of Brookdale Cemetery.
The information developed to this point does not establish that there was or was not foul play associated with her disappearance and death.

Man rapes 12-year-old boy to death in Niger State
A 12-year-old boy, identified only as Aminu, has lost his life after he was allegedly sexually abused by one Abubakar, a tea seller in Ngwayanma, in the Kontagora area of Niger State.
Abubakar, aka Maishai, had reportedly abducted Aminu from his parents’ house sometime in March, and held him hostage in his (Abubakar’s) apartment. He was alleged to have severally had anal sex with Aminu for two weeks, until the victim fell ill.
It was gathered that a neighbour, who got wind of Aminu’s abduction, raised the alarm and reported the case to the police at the Kontagora division. While Abubakar was arrested, the boy was admitted to a hospital, where he died.
A police source said that Abubakar was arraigned in a Kontagora Chief Magistrate’s Court before the boy died, on two counts of abduction and unnatural offences, to which the defendant pleaded guilty.
“The unfortunate thing is that he was sentenced to one month’s imprisonment with a fine of N30,000, which is ridiculous. The punishment generated a lot of outcry. But it is not the police’s fault. What the police can do is to appeal the case or file a new charge, now that boy is dead,” he added.
The Niger State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Elkana James, confirmed Aminu’s death, saying that the case had been transferred to the command headquarters in Minna.
He added that the suspect would be re-arraigned on a fresh charge of culpable homicide. He said, “He is still in prison, serving the one month’s imprisonment. Once the new charge is filed, he would be reproduced to take his plea.”
