Escape-artist murder suspect vanishes from police interrogation room while HANDCUFFED after he 'shot a man dead outside McDonald's for not holding the door'

A murder suspect is on the loose after he escaped from a pair of handcuffs inside a police station when an investigator left the interview room.

Perez, (left) who has an Air Jordan logo tattoo (like the one on the right) on his neck was arrested by the North Las Vegas Police Department.
Alonso Perez, 25, was arrested and taken to the North Las Vegas Police Department on Friday after Mohammed Robinson, 31, was fatally shot outside a McDonalds.
An argument broke out on the night of August 27 after Robinson failed to hold a door open for a woman, according to the victim's family members who are mourning his 'senseless' death.

Robinson, 31, (pictured) was shot outside a McDonalds on August 27 after one witness said an argument broke out after a woman was upset he didn't hold the door open for her.
Perez was arrested around 10am on Friday, and taken to the department's detective bureau where he was questioned for several hours.
When a detective left the room at around 12.45pm, Perez twisted the handcuffs until they broke, according to police spokesperson Aaron Patty.
Perez, who is 'considered armed and dangerous', fled the station and stole a white pickup truck, although the vehicle was recovered the next day, according to police.
The victim's sister Maggie Robinson was shocked by the news and told KSNV: 'I don't understand it at all...You are interviewing a murder suspect so you mean you couldn't have another person there?'
Patty responded: 'I can understand their frustration — we're just as frustrated ourselves. But the bigger focus is: We have a homicide suspect on the loose.'
Police issued an appeal from the public to find Perez, a 6ft 3in, 200-pound Hispanic man who has a tattoo of the Air Jordan logo on his neck behind his left ear.
Perez is wanted in connection to Robinson's murder around 11.45pm on August 27 outside a McDonalds on the 3000 block of Las Vegas Boulevard North.

Robinson's best friend witnessed the shooting and told his family members a woman was upset the 31-year-old did not hold the door open for her, KSNV reported.
The woman then turned to a man she was with, and he took out a gun and shot Robinson before the two fled the scene, the witness said.
Robinson was taken to university Medical Center in critical condition, and died on Sunday morning, police said.
His girlfriend said the 31-year-old was a respectful man who shied away from confrontation.
Robinson's 14-year-old daughter Miniya Sampson struggled to understand her father's death, and told KSNV: 'I love him. I wish he was still here.'
Anyone with information about Perez should call the North Las Vegas police at 702-633-9111.
