Man going through an ugly divorce blows himself up outside courthouse, killing himself and leaving his wife seriously injured

A SCORNED husband going through a bitter divorce has blown himself up outside court in an attempt to murder his wife.

Warped Wang Quanming set off a bomb believed to have been intended to kill his estranged spouse as she made her way to see a marital judge.

He is thought to have been upset at divorce proceedings and tried to carry out a vicious murder-suicide plot.

The gruesome blast killed Quanming, 51, instantly.

His body parts were found scattered over the road outside the Jixi Didao People's Court in Jixi City, North Eastern China.

His intended victim, 58-year-old Cheng Mojun, survived the attack but was badly injured. Another bystander was wounded.

Footage of the aftermath shows a badly injured and bloodied man struggling to stand up.

Cheng and the injured man were reportedly rushed to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, where they are expected to make a full recovery.

Police are investigating the attack, which is not believed to be terrorism related.
