Police Warns IPOB To Stay Off Delta State In Its Friday Protest

Delta State Police Command on Thursday warned members of the outlawed Indigeneous People of Biafra (IPOB) to steer clear of the state in its planned protest slated for Friday.
The State’s Police Public Relations Officer, Celestina Kalu. A Suprintendent of Police (SP) said in a statement that the command was ready to deal ruthlessly with any person or group that attempts to cause breach of peace for whatever reason.

 “Intelligence report reaching Delta State Police Command indicates that members of the out lawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) plan to embark on a protest on Friday, 23rd September, 2016.
“The Command wishes to warn IPOB members to stay clear of Delta State as the state does not subscribe to such an agenda”, she warned.
Kalu disclosed that the state Police Command and it’s personnel have been fully briefed on the Strategy of Operation (SOP) and rules of engagement and have been deployed and briefed to deal ruthlessly with any person or group of persons who attempts to cause the breach of peace for whatever reason.
