Drake and Future’s tour bus was robbed on Tuesday. Jewelry worth millions of dollars was allegedly stolen in the incident.
Drake and Future are currently in the midst of their “Summer Sixteen
Tour,” which began in July. They’ve spent the last few days performing
shows in New Orleans and Houston, before heading to Phoenix. It was at
the city’s Talking Stick Resort Arena that the crime apparently went
down.
While the rappers weren’t around, the culprit or culprit allegedly
gained access to their shared bus and made off with a briefcase filled
with jewelry. The items are said to be worth between $2 and $3 million
dollars. And while the goods reportedly belonged to Future, a video
taken in the aftermath of the incident shows Drake was quite upset over
the incident (see below).
In the footage, which was reportedly filmed early Wednesday morning,
Drake is seen gesturing angrily to people seemingly in his entourage.
Neither star, however, has mentioned the situation on social media.
According to TMZ, police plan to review surveillance footage in hopes of finding the thief or thieves.
Drake and Future’s “Summer Sixteen Tour” is expected to continue as
scheduled on Wednesday night with a show at the Staples Center in Los
Angeles. Additional concerts are slated for Friday and Saturday.
