The rapist chopped off one of Opeyemi’s ears and left Rhodia with head injury following the children’s screams after seeing what happened to their parents.
Kazeem and his two kids are currently lying unconscious at Ikorodu General Hospital.mThe rapist, it was gathered, also visited a nearby compound and attacked one Sunday Robert, 52, with his wife before fleeing the neighbourhood.
A resident, Bode, said: “People are leaving the community because there is no solution in sight to these attacks. Several women have been raped and killed. Girls are molested by these rapists and yet, nothing is done.
Imagine what he did to an entire family! The woman died on the spot. Her husband and children are battling for their lives in the hospital. They cannot even talk now. They are in coma."
Another resident said some persons were using the gang members to achieve their evil desires. He urged Governor Akinwunmi Ambode to take steps to ensure that the gang members and their sponsors were exposed and brought to justice.
For several months, the gang has terrorised residents of the community, raping and killing women. They mostly go after married, pregnant women and children, killing anyone who attempt to resist.
