Police arrest four suspected cultists

The police in Lagos have arrested four suspected members of Awawa cult group who terrorise residents of Dopemu and environs. Sherif Nahim, Platelet Ismail, Jamiu Amusa and Abel Babatunde were apprehended on Monday around 9:30am at 29, Abeje Street, Agege.

The suspected members of the group, who were armed with dangerous weapons, were on rampage when they got arrested. Policemen from Dopemu Divisional Police Station, who responded to a distress call, arrested them where they were hiding.
