Man allegedly trying to steal a car battery, apprehended, beaten and tied to a pole

According to Tori.ng, the man is notorious for stealing people's car batteries at night. He was caught at a market junction in Rumumasi, Port Harcourt, Rivers state, while trying to break into a man's car.

The security guards, popularly called Abokis, apprehended him while his gang members escaped. He was subsequently beaten to a pulp, before being tied to a pole. He has since been handed over to the police.
