Police arrest 2 men for raping a pawpaw hawker in Ogun

Ezekiel Yusuf, 29, and Musa Abubakar, 25, were arrested for raping a 23-year-old girl who hawks pawpaw. The Ogun State Police P.R.O, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the victim was hawking sliced pawpaw fruit, when Yusuf lured her into his apartment on the pretence that they wanted to buy pawpaw.

Oyeyemi adds that: , “it was while she was shouting that the people around came to her rescue and subsequently reported to the police. The DPO of Ojodu Abiodun, SP Bamidele Job, quickly dispatched detectives to the scene and two suspects were promptly arrested."
