Brother of former Akwa Ibom State governor Ibanga Akpabio Arrested by EFCC

Ibanga Akpabio who is current Deputy Chairman of the PDP in Akwa Ibom state, has been arrested by the EFCC in connection with fraud. EFCC sources said the senior Akpabio is facing separate investigations over his mismanagement and embezzlement of Akwa Ibom state fund.

Ibanga was reportedly arrested and detained at the Zonal offices of the EFCC in Port Harcourt for defrauding a member of the Federal House of Rep., Robinson Uwak. He is also being interrogated over allegations of fraud and money laundering. Crdt: SR
