Eight Christian students were burnt at
Abdu Gusau Polytechnic, Galata Mafar of Zamfara state because they spoke
against Prophet Mohammed.
It happened on Monday in school, when a male student spoke against Mohammed while talking with his Muslim friend.
After which the Christian fellow hide in
a house to prevent been beaten by a mob. Unfortunately, the mob gained
entrance taking along seven other innocent persons in the house with him
and set the hose ablaze.
The Police in Zamfara state has imposed
an indefinite curfew in order to bring back peace to the town and
promised to arrest and prosecute any person that goes against it. They
also called on religious leaders in the state to embrace peace.
The school has been closed down until peace and sanity is restored.
