Ekiti NSCDC Parade Five Suspects Over Fraud

he Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ekiti State Command, have arrested five suspected fraudsters and ritualist at Iwaro community of Oke-Ila, in Ado Ekiti, the state capital.
Addressing newsmen in Ado Ekiti, the commandant, Mr Donatus Ikemefuna represented by the Public Relations Officer, Mr Afolabi Tolulope said that the suspects were arrested while duping a 49 year businessman, Okechukwu Omeniho from Owerri in Imo state and resident of Atlanta Georgia in the United States.

According to the command, the suspects had successfully duped Mr Okechukwu Omeniho over 400,000 naira.
The commandant has re-affirmed his commitment to ensure a total eradication of fraudsters’ in the area, warning all criminals to leave the state with immediate effect or face the wrath of the law.
Mr Tolulope said the suspects would be charged to court after investigations.
Meanwhile, the victim Mr Okechukwu appealed to Nigerians to be careful with people on the streets.
