A
Catholic church in Benue State has experienced an explosion of people
after stories went around that a statue of Jesus located in the church
was glowing.
The story was that the image, which was a carbon copy of the structure of Christ when he rose from death after he was crucified and buried, had on its head a crown, while the entire body was glittering, like precious stone.
The church, Saint Augustine’s Catholic Church, Nenger, Markudi, Benue State, has now become a destination point for Nigerians ever since the story was carried.
A video has now surfaced in which scores of people thronged the church in hopes of glimpsing the statue in its glowing state and maybe even get to touch it.

In the video people were screaming, “Jesus save me,” “Jesus the son of God, have mercy on me.”
Whether the statue actually glowed or not remains to be seen but you can make up your mind with the video below.
