Two Chinese nationals kidnapped by gunmen in Abuja, last weekend, have regained freedom.
The men, aged 45 and 50, working for a construction company, were held for 24 hours of captivity after they were ambushed.
A spokesman for the Police, Umar Nurman told AFP on Tuesday, that the
duo have undergone tests in a hospital in Abuja and appear to be in
good health.
Their release followed “extensive pressure from the search party”, Nurman added.
It was unknown whether a ransom had been paid.
