Buhari leaves Nigeria for Chad on Monday

President Muhammadu Buhari will Monday leave the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja for N’Djamena, Chad.
Buhari is to attend the one-day inauguration of President Idriss Deby who won the presidential election in his country in April.
This information is contained in a statement issued in Abuja on Sunday by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.
According to the statement, Buhari who would be joining other Heads of State and Government for the ceremony, would be accompanied by governors of Kano and Borno states – Abdullahi Ganduje and Kashim Shettima.
“The President’s delegation will also include Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, Sen. Baba Kaka Garba, the National Security Adviser, Maj.-Gen. Babagana Monguno (rtd) and Hon. Tahir Monguno,” the statement added.
