This has been my experience with ghosts, one that I hadn't shared with anyone other than those who were involved as well.My
family moved into a house that was for rent, and we lived there for
only about 9 months because of what I'm about to tell you. My entire
family; Mom, step dad, and two younger brothers, all seen the same thing
separately and as a group. I, to this day, can not explain what we all
saw. From the first week that we were in this house, something
just felt wrong about it. There was a dark presence about the house and
everyone felt it.One evening, when I was home alone, I was
heading to the back hallway, where my bedroom was and when passing the
bathroom, the door just opened. For no reason that I can think of, I
checked the handle to see if it was broken and wouldn't close all the
way (at a later time mind you, I was freaked out). This incident
actually happened several times, with more and more things happening
after it. Sometimes the door would open or close when me or anyone else
walked past it, and sometimes you could hear the wood floors creak after
or before it opened/closed. My brother had similar things happen to him while inside the bathroom taking a bath/shower/toilet. My mom said that night she
was reading in the living room she saw something out of the corner of
her eye, a shadow that moved in the hallway. She looked around, and
there was nothing that moved in front of a light to cause a shadow. Not a
bug, any balloons, or any movement at all.
My stepfather also saw these black shadows leave their room or go into it (they only saw the shadow upon leaving/entering a room from the hallway). Maybe that has something to do with it, but I can't tell you how many times I woke up to get ready for school and saw both of my parents in the living room sleeping. One morning, when getting ready (I showered with the door open as well as the shower curtain open in the second bathroom that nobody went into ever. It had a stand up shower, sink, and sliding glass doors. I was the only one to use this bathroom (I was terrified of the other bathroom). Well, this bathroom wasn't safe either, when I first started using it with the glass doors shut, I saw movement several times through the blurred glass. Freaked out, I left it open, and never had an incident. One morning, however, I had the sliding glass door open, and all of a sudden, I heard a loud noise. The toilet seat lifted UP, and then the soaps from the sink fell into the sink at the same time the toilet then flushed. The water got warmer, but not burning hot, which seems odd now because of how many times that I have been burned. Needless to say, we moved out of that house soon. Then we moved into a second house, a 2 story instead of a ranch, also rented, and was there for 3 months during Christmas time.
We set up the tree, one of the spinning ones, and the day after Christmas, this happened.
It was just me and my mom in the house, we were both upstairs trying to figure out what we were doing for dinner, and we heard a knocking sound. It was late at night, so we both went downstairs, and as we were going down the stairs, my mom stopped and pointed. Even now, I get a chill down my spine thinking of this. The Christmas tree was spinning. Bulbs were falling off, one at a time, onto the floor.Yes the tree was the kind that spun, no I do not think that the plug just happened to fall out. I unplugged it earlier that day before we left and never plugged it back in. My mom started looking for a new place that week.
Now that brings me to our current house, that we have lived in for 2 years now. My mom, dad, and me were all talking in the living room, when we heard someone walking past us, the wood floors were creaking with us right there. Three people, a teenager, and two adults, witnessed this and couldn't explain it. One day, my dad was in the crawlspace hooking up a dehumidifier, when he heard someone walking overhead. This wouldn't be abnormal if he wasn't home alone at the time.
One night - I was laying in bed (this was 6 months ago) watching Tosh.0, and something out of no where poked me in the ribs. Like, if someone is being playful, almost like a tickle, but just one time. When that happened. I ran upstairs, and slept on the couch for the rest of the week. It was freaky.
Now this is where things start to get pretty interesting - Alright, so I ended up doing some research of my own. One day, my mom mentioned that my brothers need new beds because theirs didn't match or something, I asked why, and she said one of the beds was from the old house (the first haunted house). Then things started to click and make sense. The first house was for rent for a reason. There was a fire 6 months earlier where a little boy, about 4 or 5 I think passed away. The fire was in a hallway on the opposite side of the house where his playroom was and the office, not his bedroom. That bed ended up moving with is to the next house, and to our current house. I think that there was a ghost of this 4 or 5 year old boy attached to this bed somehow. Some of the things that happened, seem like something a young boy would do, mess with the Christmas tree, get into stuff, slam the lid up, and knock over stuff in the bathroom. That is just what I think of it now.We have since gotten rid of the bed (frame), sold it at a garage sale, and nothing spooky has happened at this house since. I do feel bad for the people who bought it though, however, it was never scary to where I thought I was going to die, but just spooky enough to where I wanted to get the hell away from there as soon as possible.
If anyone can come up with a rational explanation, it would be much appreciated.
